On the second competition day of the match encounter of the UK, Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan national boxing teams, which is taking place at the Zhastar Sports Palace in Astana, the Kazakhstan team won a second victory having defeated Uzbekistan’s team with a 7:3 score.
The first to enter the capital city ring today were the teams of the UK and Russia. The coaches of the British team fielded no boxers in three weight classes – 49, 75, and 91 kg, which was, possibly, what predetermined the outcome of the encounter. The Russians won with a 3:7 score.

Tomorrow there will be a day-off. On February 19, the closing day of the competitions, the UK and Uzbekistan teams will encounter at 14.00 and those of Russia and Kazakhstan at 17.00.
