The Head of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach has sent a congratulation letter to Timur Kulibayev, the newly appointed member of the Public Affairs and Social Development through Sport Commission (PASD) of the International Olympic Committee.

"According to the AIBA election regulations, we announced our intention to all the national federations and now we are waiting for the letters from them in support of our candidate.
