Kazakhstan boxers won four gold medals and one silver medal at the International Brandenburg Cup Youth Tournament held in Frankfurt an der Oder, Germany, on February 26 - March 2.
The winners are Sultan Zaurbek (56 kg), Ablaikhan Zhusupov (60 kg), Ayan Kalibekov (64 kg), Vadim Kazakov (81 kg). Temirlan Kabiyev (91 kg) lost in the finals to a British boxer and gained a silver medal. Yeldos Kadyrbayev (+91 kg) lost to a host fighter who became the winner in this weight class.
At the Brandenburg Cup, Kazakhstan was represented by boxers in 6 out of 10 weight classes. In all, 140 athletes from 20 countries participated in the tournament.
