27 january, 2018

In the Serbian Sombor the Nations Cup was finished.

The winner of the tournament in Serbia Lyazzat Kungeibayeva (+81 kg) in an interview to the official website of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation has summed up the results, has shared plans for the current year and she has said that she wants to be the two-time world champion.

- Lyazzat, we congratulate on the gold medal! What kind of feelings did you have after the victory?

- This victory will allow getting a positive energy and will give a confidence in preparation for Asian Games and the World Cup. A victory is always pleasant and this experience will be useful.

- You were the first who took the "gold" in Sombor. Did your victory affect on the spirit of other girls in the national team?

- We won five more gold medals which means they have believed in their forces. We are the national team as a family and we will always support each other. I am very glad that we have acted successfully in Serbia and I hope that it is only the beginning. We will get more victories if we work hard.

- What about your bouts? It was difficult?

- It was not so difficult. After the rest it is always difficult to be involved back in training process. Fights were on the middle level. In general, the tournament has taken place exactly for me.

- How do you usually prepare for the bouts? Do you have an own program of trainings?

- There is no special program per se. In the preparation I always follow instructions of coaches who make the plan of trainings and nutrition plan. Nothing is unusual. It is more important how you prepare. If you spend a lot of your time in the gym it makes a sense.

- How will the victory on the big tournament help you with further prospect?

- Firstly, I become confident that I do everything in the proper way. The athlete needs to feel such moments and from time to time to get benefits of the trainings. As you know in this year we will have Asian Games and the World Cup. The victory in Serbia will allow breaking a psychological barrier and will help with further development.
