Kazakhstan have won gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the Youth World Championships

The 17-year-old representative of the Jambyl region Begdilda Arailym became the youth world boxing champion in 81 kg weight category.

At the World Championships Arailym had three bouts and in the final her opponent was the champion of Russia Anastasiya Rybak. In the first round the advantage was for Anastasia, but then our boxer has intercepted the initiative. She could keep energy till the end of the fight and struck to the opponent very powerful blows. By the split decision 4:1 – 30:27, 28:29, 29:28, 29:28, 28:29 – Arailym has won the gold.

 The new champion practices boxing since 2013 under the leadership of the coach Meirbek Chengelbayev. Her idol is Mike Tyson. Arailym was the champion of Kazakhstan in the her age category in 2014-2016 and she won gold medals at the international tournaments in Ukraine, Serbia and Turkey. The first place at the World Cup is the serious application for continuation of her career in Elite and in several months when Arailym gets 18, she will be invited in the Elite Women's National Team.
 
Silver medals belong to Dina Islambekova (+81 kg) who has conceded in the final to the Russian boxer Kristina Tkatscheva and Zhazira Urakbayeva (48 kg) who lost the bout the Indian boxer Nita.
 
Zhansaya Abdraimova (51 kg) and Zhansaya Baltabekova (60 kg) have won the bronze medals.
