Kazakhstan men’s national team has achieved an amazing success on the Asian Games in Incheon having won 8 medals - six gold, one silver and one bronze.
The athletes to win the highest prize were Ilyas Suleymenov (52 kg), Daniyar Yeleussinov (69 kg), Zhanibek Alimhanuly (75 kg), Adilbek Niyazymbetov (81 kg), Anton Pinchuk (under 91 kg) and Ivan Dychko (over 91 kg).
Birzhan Zhakipov (49 kg) has won silver.
With these results Kazakhstan’s team is far ahead of all the other teams and is the absolute winner of the boxing tournament.
This result is so far the best in our team’s history in the Asian Games. The coaching staff of the national team led by Myrzagali Aytzhanov has exceeded its medal plan for this tournament and has brilliantly completed the task of being first in the overall standings.
