14 Kazakhstan boxers became finalists of the ASBC Asian Youth Men's & Women's Boxing Championships 2018

7 boys and 7 girls from Kazakhstan are preparing for finals at the ASBC Asian Youth Men's & Women's Boxing Championships in Bangkok.  

They are: Makhmud Sabyrkhan (49), Talgat Shayken (64), Nurbek Oralbay (75), Aibek Oralbay (91), Yermakhan Zhakpekov (69), Sagyndyk Togembay (81) and Damir Toibay (+91). Only one boxer lost in the semi-final and got the bronze medal was Beybarys Zheksen (56).

In finals among girls we have Aizada Islamgali (54), Maiya Beisebayeva (69), Zhansaya Abdraimova (51), Yerkezhan Dauletkyzy (57), Nadezhda Ryabets (75), Guzal Sadykova (81) and Dina Islambekova (+81)

In the semi-finals Anel Kudaibergen (48), Mariya Gladkova (60) and Zhuldyz Toikova (64) lost their bouts and won bronze medals.

So our team with 14 finalists is on the first all teams place at the Asian Championships. 

In Bangkok this ASBC Asian Youth Men's & Women's Boxing Championships is licensed tournament for Youth World Championships which will be held in Hungary in August 2018. According to AIBA rules all boxers who become semi-finalists (girls and boys in heavy and super heavy weight categories get a license only if they become finalists of the championships). Therefore, our youth team has got 18 quotes for Youth World Championships.
