The Coach Counsel Meeting of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation chaired by executive director of KFB Mr Bekzhan Bektenov and vice-president of KFB Mr Yuryi Tskhay took place in Astana today.
The head coach of the National Team Mr Myrzagali Aitzhanov summed up the results of the first training camp at AIBA Academy and shared with the plans for 2017. In this year we will compete in the Asia and World Championships, so we are seriously preparing to the responsible tournaments. Also some boxers of the National Team will take part in the international tournaments.
As you know the Women National Team coached by Mr Vadim Prisyazhnyuk successfully competed in the Nations Cup annual tournament in Serbia where they have won the first place in the team classification. Nobody wants to stop training. There is a high level competition in the Women Team and it makes us believe in new achievements of our women athletes in future.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Cup tournament among men and women will be held in June 2017 dedicated to the World Expo-2017. We expect that this tournament will generate the interest of many amateur boxing fans and the athletes will get a necessary high level competition experience.
The Youth and Junior National Teams are preparing to the big competitions according to the plan. They have all necessary conditions and calendar of the next international tournaments.
