Head coach of the National Team, Myrzagali Aitzhanov, has commented on the National Team participation at the World Championships and told us about objectives for 2018:
- After the Olympic Games the team's composition has changed for 70 percent. Some team leaders undergo rehabilitation from their injuries. Some of them have finished sports career. One boxer has gone to the professional boxing. In this regard eight boxers represented our country for the first time at the Asian and World Championships. In Tashkent Kazakhstan team has competed at the Asian Championships and it was far from satisfactory. Coach staff learned mistakes and corrected them. It let us to compete successfully at the World Championships. For this period the team has nine training camps. Two of them were with German and USA National teams. Our national team has a number of responsible starts. In 2018 we should participate in the Asian Games in Indonesia. The team is faced by a task - to take the first all teams place. In the course of preparation for the tournament joint training camp will be organized with the strongest national teams of the world, - Myrzagali Aitzhanov noted.
It should be reminded in 2017 the Kazakhstan National Team had nine educational and training and recovery camps including the joint ones with teams from the USA, India and Germany and participated in nine international tournaments.
